LOCK 28 > Conestoga drift

Commonly known as the "Torpedo Run".

This is one of the dives that I was determined to figure out back in the day. Fun dive and a great one to learn navigation and drift on. We can get in at the WeeHawk wreck, head around the corner and off we go :)

I've seen this dive done many ways, but in about 9 - 10 mins it will be time to SHOOT THE GAP :)

Be ready to get tossed around as you get pulled in and pushed out into the St Lawrence. Avoid the eddys and head east. Do it right and the Connestoga should be in sight. Good on air ? Lets take a lap around the "Connie".
Bonus dive, head back up the road and dive under the house boats to head back up the lock. Taking our time to explore the concrete structures.

Find the secret wall exit and you have successfully completed dive day :)

This one might take a few dives to figure it out

LOCK 23 - GUIDED TOUR - MEDIUM DRIFT

Lets take a visit to old Morrisburg, dive thru concrete structures and old town streets and whats left of the lock. A ton to see here, one dive will not be enough.

Very popular dive site !

Current is strong, drfit diving skills required. Also lots of depth changes as you work your way over and under some of the structures. So keeping your buoyancy under control is key.

A few variations of this drift dive are possible
